Just as light passes through the many facets of a Swarovski Crystal, so does Ch'i or energy. Because of this simple physics principle, it is a popular cure in Feng Shui. In the way that the facets of a Swarovski Crystal refracts light, it also disperses energy. It is therefore used to enliven dark spaces, to slow energy down when there is nothing to stop it, and in general manipulate Ch'i. Often realtors will experience a client who refuses to look any further when being shown a lovely home which may have an unobstructive view of the ocean or Central park when standing in the main entrance. The issue is limited knowledge. Ch'i can easily go in one end and out the other, but a well placed Swarovski can disperse the energy and keep it from "flying out" the window. Any change in flooring or arrangement of furnishings can also help in this situation.
